Last weekend Budo left their home ground gutted after they came close to defeating Avengers, but they ran out wickets with only 13 runs required for the win. However, they would be proud of their efforts especially with the bat with most of their senior players getting spending some good time in the middle.
They host winless Nile Cricket Club in a game they are clear favorites, Budo will welcome back their Captain Abu Mayanja who has been missing due to the holy month of Ramathan as well as all rounder Philip Thawithemwira who was unavailable last weekend.
Nile is only team in Div 2 without a win this season and the team in transition will need Budo self distract for them to have a chance of winning the game. The youthful side is still trying to get to know each other and the best they can do this year is to gain as much experience as possible.
Avengers travel to Jinja to take on SKLPS in confident mood. The pace attack of Emmanuel Waigo and Arun will be key on the lively Jinja wicket as the two asian sides battle for maximum points. SKLPS did not break a sweat for their last win after Wanderers could not raise a team while Avengers are coming off a hard fought 13 run win over Budo.
The two sides who are very close to the top of the table will be looking for maximum points so that they move further away from the relegation places and closer to the promotion spots.
