"We are thrilled to host the Annual Boys Schools Tournament this year, this edition of the boy’s schools cricket week has come at the perfect time when young cricketers in Uganda have been inspired by the senior men’s team at the T20 World Cup in West Indies. This gives them a chance to showcase their talent in the hope that they can grow into national assets that will represent Uganda at bigger tournaments. This opportunity also gives Jinja a chance to sell itself as a sports tourism destination, therefore we call upon sports lovers to come to witness the talent that will be showcased by the boys coming from all over the country. look forward to witnessing the remarkable performances and the unforgettable moments that this tournament will bring” - Isaac Imaka – Founder East Enders
“A big thanks goes to UCA for increasing the number of participating schools. This will go a long way in increasing our talent pool for representative teams as well as the future players for Uganda. We anticipate an interesting brand of cricket from the various schools as we look forward to a thrilling tournament”- Davis Turinawe – Development Manager UC
The event is made possible through the generous support of our partners East Enders, JACC, Sky View, and Jinja SSS, whose contributions have been instrumental in organizing this large-scale event.
