Budo CC vs SKLPS – 10:30am
A seven run win against a strong ACC side has kicked started Budo's season after two losses. Budo pulled off a shocker defeating ACC who are favorites for promotion to the top flight and they will be confident side when they face SKLPS this weekend.
Budo will be playing its second game of the season at their home ground and they will hope they can more luck by playing at home. Team Captain Abu Mayanja left himself out of the side that defeated ACC but he will be needed to make sure they dont slip on against SKLPS.
The young Budo side has had some of the young lads put their hands up with Patrick Oburu has led the Budo bowling line brilliantly and Taha Ahmed scored a team high 81 last weekend. Budo has players that can hurt SKLPS and they will need to be on the look out for players like Joel Epiangu, Arnold Byarugaba and Jonathan Kiiza.
Captain Abu Mayanja is hoping for more luck playing at home
We hope to build on the hardwork of last weekend. We are looking at bagging another win and we shall be looking at out stalwarts Oburu,Taha and Thawithemwira.
A win against the mostly Asian side will move them up the table as they seek to achieve their season priority of survival in their first season in Div 2 since their promotion this year.
SKLPS lost its opening game of the season to ACC but managed to get the better of Nile and they will be looking to keeping winning. A win will give them good momentum as they try to push for promotion to the top flight and also stay in touch with the table leaders.
SKLPS are very disciplined as a side in their approach play, they gave away very little with their bowling which they always back up with some tidy hands in the field though their batting is porous.
