Nigeria 239/10 Ogundipe segun (46) Okpe Sylvester (31) defeated Uganda 145/10 Cosmas Kyewuta (25), Ochimi Ramathan (24) in 29.4 overs by 94 runs.
Nigeria won the toss and opted to bat first for the 1st in the series a decision that proved to be a very good one.
Olaleye Elijah and and Runeswe Sulaiman opened the batting for Nigeria starting off the innings with the expected composure and calmness managing to contain the searing pace of Cosmas Kyewuta and Mwebaze Innocent.
Olaleye Elijah unfortunately retired hurt after he was injured by a bouncer from Cosmas Kyewuta.. Danladi joined Sulaiman Runeswe and pushed on, captain Sylvester Ameh Okpe consolidated the innings with a patient 31(64). Ogundipe Segun did the most damage at the back end of the innings with an unbeaten 46 (25) which included 4 boundaries.
With a target of 240 at hand,Uganda started off the innings in a disastrous manner losing "the shark" Zephaniah arinaitwe for zero who was caught off the searing pace of lefter Mohammed Taiwo.
Simon Peter Okecho and Robinson Obuya soon followed both with neither bothering the scorers. Uganda was left reeling at 17/4 inside 10 overs, Munir Ismael (16) and Sirajje Nsubuga 11 hustled to repair the damage with support from the tail enders Cosmas Kyewuta (25) and Ochimi Ramathan (24) but wasnt enough as the Nigerians got their 1st win on the tour.

The visitors will play their last game of the tour tomorrow against the U19 side and even though the hosts have closed out the series they visitors will want to finish the trip on a high.
