The Kutchi Tigers and A.C.C will be meeting at the Lugogo cricket oval for their fixture in this year’s Unimoni National T20 Cup.
The two sides have had success in their matches so far except for the Tigers who lost fitfully to the youthful Strikers, by five wickes despite an eight wicket win over the Avengers, just that same morning. ACC had a similar fate when they faced Avengers CC later that afternoon, easily winning by nine wickets.
Ankit Patel led the Tigers batting line up, piling 38 runs off 33 balls, together with Kaplesh Kerai contributing 27 runs off 15 balls to help them to their first victory. However, they faced a tougher opponent in the Strikers, who chased their score of 125 runs in 14 overs with wickets to spare and it was only Hirani Alpesh who posed some resistance, getting 39 runs off 24 balls, with Nanji Pindoria being the only other batsman to make it past 16 runs. Dhansuk Jesani (4/22) will look to repeat the success he's had with the ball against ACC's batsmen.
Daniel Batuwa helped ACC to victory against the Avengers, contributing a solid 50 off 32 balls not out, with Jjunju Gadaffi 25 off 21 balls, and skipper Marvin Kitamirike's three wicket haul will be what the Kutchi Tigers have to prepare for especially. It will be interesting to see who the better team is this time round.

In a bid not be left out, the Kutchi Tigers' latest opponents, the Strikers, will face an equally youthful Aziz Damani Development team in the afternoon. The Strikers were in considerable form last weekend, gaining a win by five wickets over a surprised Kutchi Tigers.
Well-deserved man of the match Frank Akankwasa delivered blow after blow with four wickets for the loss of just one run and 48 runs off 21 balls. Together with Perry Wazombe (33 runs off 33 balls), the bowling pack picked a wicket a piece to end the short run the Tigers had.
The Aziz Damani Development team unfortunately lost their game against the Ceylon Lions, but however managed to put up 134/9, losing by 61 runs against the more seasoned players. Ronald Omara who put up 33 runs off 24 balls, and Anas Baig (22 runs off 28 balls) will be the batsmen that the Strikers will look out for. Bowlers Munir Ishmael and Christopher Kidega will look to pick more wickets this time round, to bring down all ten wickets.
This game will be nothing short of excitement and adrenaline between the youngsters but so far one team has the upper hand and they have every intention of keeping it that way.
