Kyambogo Oval - 10:30am
Tornado Bee vs Challengers.
With both teams very safe from the relegation zone and no hope for the title, what’s left to play for is the mid table bragging rights.
The point difference between both sides is a mere four points but the Bees still have another two games to play after this fixture against Challengers. Challengers will be playing their last game of the season and they have their sights set on getting maximum points.
A loss for Challengers will see them slip from fourth with the Bees taking up the spot. With all rounders Roger Mukasa and Deus Muhumuza set to return from national duty in South Africa, the Bees will be given the much needed shot in the proverbial arm for the game. Challengers will have no choice but to work overtime on a weekend to achieve the 5 points at the end of the day.
Sundays game shall see them rally behind Roger Mukasa, Deus Muhumuza, Baig Akbar and Lawrence Sematimba with the bat and the bowling shall be commanded by Roger Mukasa, Deus Muhumuza, Baig Akbar with assists from Abdallah Lubega and John Mpande.
For the Challengers, Arthur kyobe shall be looking forward to wrapping up the season on a high. Currently having a total of 458, he shall be looking forward to crossing the 500 mark this season while Hamu Kayondo is also eager to reach the 400 mark. Challengers cricket club needs to dig deep if they are to win the game. All rounders Mohamed Aneef and Nasser Ahmed have to come to the party if the side badly need to win.
