Budo Oval - 10:30am
Patidar CC Vs Nile
Patidar cricket club will be looking at extending their winning streak and secure promotion spot when they face Nile cricket club. Patidar seats at the top of the table and are looking at extending the gap between them and Tornado Cricket Club.
A win over Nile Cricket club puts them closer to promotion back to top flight where they were relegated from last year after finishing seventh. That said, it means they will come guns blazing to seal the season this Sunday at the Kings College Budo oval.
On form all rounder, Hardik Patel is to lead the batting with support from Gaurpreet Singh and Farid Dinani. The trio have been in lethal form for their team all season and will apply themselves on Sunday again knowing a win will put them closer to their dream – promotion. Ajibu Muzei and najib Kakooza have the challenge of stopping the Patidar batsmen from scoring.
Nile on the other hand sit second to last on the log and in all likelihood will be relegated when the season closes. Separated by a single point from bottom placed Kings college Budo Cricket Club who have 5 points, Nile will be playing to save themselves from relegation.
A win for Nile could see them increase the space between them and Budo should the latter lose to Wanderers at the riverside oval in the other fixture of the day. The services of Turab Alani and all rounder Najib kakooza have to bear fruit in the batting.
This fixture will make for an interesting encounter as both teams have a lot to play for with the season drawing to a close. Patidar want to win the title and gain promotion in the process while Nile are looking to survive the drop.
