Patidar CC Vs SKLPS
With three games to end the season for both teams, the dream of promotion draws ever closer. Along with Tornado (48), Patidar (48) and SKLPS (47) make for an interesting promotion race.
All rounder Meghji Kara who tops the batting charts for SKLPS will have a vital role to play in the fixture just as Hardik Patel will have the same role bestowed on him by his Patidar team. SKLPS who have surprised themselves with a lot of results going their way this season will hope to ride on their good fortunes to see them through.
Patidar, who were relegated from Division One last year will be eager for a return to the country’s elite league and seeing how close they are to achieving this feat, they would not want to slip up. As such, a big win could see them increase the distance between them and SKLPS and as well negate the net run rate difference that keeps them in second place while Tornado who they share points with sit in first.
For either team, a win will see them gain the upper hand over the other in the race for promotion putting the winner in the driving seat. Patidar have been performing well above expectations all season but the SKLPS fixture this Sunday will prove a sterner test with a lot to play for.

Tornado CC Vs Wanderers CC
Wanderers who have not had the best of runs this season come against a vibrant Tornado side whose aspirations to top the division and gain promotion match no other team.
When both teams met in the first round of fixtures, Wanderers were easily defeated by Tornado in a game that lasted all of 40 overs. Tornado are aware of the chasing pack of Patidar and SKLPS with a point separating the latter and only a net run rate separating the former.
A win for Tornado against Sam Walusimbi’s men in blue will see them extend their lead at the top while a loss could see them slip to third depending on how the fixture of Patidar and SKLPS goes. Any result in this fixture will not do much for the Wanderers who sit in sixth, 13 points adrift of relegation, and 16 points behind fifth place Africa.
One can therefore say that Tornado have the most to lose or gain should they win or lose in this fixture. Wanderers will look to satisfy themselves with the win considering the last time the two sides met and things did not go their way.
