SKLPS v NILE
JINJA OVAL
TIME 10:00AM
With relegation looming over their heads, Nile CC needs at least two wins from their remaining matches in order to secure their Div 2 status.
However, this seems to be a hard task given that in their remaining fixtures they face two sides (ACC and Patidar) in the top four and a six pointer with relegation rivals Budo. The situation is made worse by the absence of key players Turab Allani who has been Nile's best batsman this season, team captain Dinesh Thota and Lennon Kangume who is injured.
Nile is in seventh position only ahead of Budo CC by a single point and will need heavenly intervention or serious reinforcement in order to survive the drop.
SKLPS comes into this encounter with as favorites over Nile with the form book in their favour and hard a resounding win over Budo last weekend. SKLPS won the first round encounter between the two sides and with six wins out of their nine league games played so far they have their sights set on finishing so high up the Div 2 table.
This game is one of those that cannot save Nile's season and might want to just limit the damage of the loss on match day.
