After a morning drizzle reduced the game, Uganda recovered from an early setback to post 93/6.

Captain Janet Mbabazi fell off the very first ball, but the innings was rebuilt with calm assurance.

Stephanie Nampiina anchored the effort with a well-crafted 32 off 24 balls, striking two boundaries, while Kevin Awino contributed a steady 25 off 30 deliveries.

Immaculate Nakisuuyi and Rita Musamali added 13 runs each, providing valuable support in the middle order as Uganda fought back from the early blow to set a competitive total.

Uganda A’s bowlers showed discipline, with Irene Alumo and Tino Sarah picking up two wickets each, while Lorna Anyait added one to keep the scoring in check.

In reply, Uganda A struggled to build momentum and were restricted to 54/7 in their 14 overs.

Captain Phiona Egaru Kulume top-scored with an unbeaten 18, while efforts from Jimia Abdallah Muhammed, Asumin Akurut, and Immaculate Nandera fell short of threatening the target.
