Match Day Six of the 2026 SkyView Boys Schools Cricket Week delivered a thrilling day of action as Shree Sahajanand Uganda and Jinja SS booked their places in the tournament final.
The morning session brought the Super Eight and Placement stages to a close, with Busoga College Mwiri and Gulu HS producing dominant wins.
Shree Sahajanand Uganda then maintained their unbeaten run with victory over Ntare School to finish top of Super Eight B.
In the afternoon Jinja SS overcame Ntare in the first semifinal before Shree Uganda stunned defending champions Mwiri to reach the final.
MORNING
Busoga College Mwiri vs Lango College

Busoga College Mwiri won by 146 runs
Defending champions Busoga College Mwiri booked their place in the semifinals with a dominant 146-run victory over debutants Lango College.
Trevor Azikiriza produced the standout performance, smashing the second century of the tournament with a stunning 133 off 58 balls, including 13 sixes and nine fours.
His century followed Shree Uganda’s Devansh Patel’s 125 against Olila HS and became the highest individual score of the tournament.
Mwiri posted 216/6 after choosing to bat, the highest team total of the tournament at the time, before restricting Lango College to 70/8.
The victory saw Mwiri finish runners-up in Super Eight A and set up a semifinal clash against Shree Sahajanand Uganda.
Shree Sahajanand Uganda vs Ntare School

Shree Uganda won by 33 runs
Shree Sahajanand Uganda maintained their unbeaten record with a 33-run victory over Ntare School in a clash that decided the Super Eight B group winner.
Both teams had already secured semifinal places, but Shree Uganda sealed top spot with a maximum-points finish.
The result means Shree Uganda would face defending champions Busoga College Mwiri in the semifinal, while Ntare School took on five-time champions Jinja SS.
Gulu HS vs Kasese SS

Gulu HS won by 187 runs
Gulu HS stormed into the Placement semifinals with a commanding 187-run victory over Kasese SS.
Marvin Ouma produced the third century of the tournament, smashing an unbeaten 112 off 57 balls to inspire Gulu to 208/4.
Kasese struggled in reply and were bowled out for just 21, with Gulu finishing top of Placement B.
They advanced to face Kira College Butiiki in the Placement semifinals.

Kira College Butiiki won by 20 runs
Kira College Butiiki secured their place in the Placement semifinals with a 20-run victory over GoodHeart in their final Placement C game.
The Jinja-based side finished top of Placement C and advanced to face Gulu HS in the semifinals.
St. James’ SS vs Rwenzori HS

St. James’ SS won by 10 wickets
St. James’ SS produced the tournament’s most emphatic low-scoring victory, beating Rwenzori HS by 10 wickets.
Rwenzori were bowled out for just 36 in 10.3 overs before St. James’ raced to the target inside the powerplay.
The result saw St. James’ finish top of Placement A and book a semifinal clash against hosts Nyakasura, winners of Placement D.
Masaka SS vs Soroti SS

Masaka SS won by 4 wickets
Masaka SS closed their campaign with a four-wicket victory over Soroti SS in a dead-rubber encounter.
Chasing 100, Masaka completed the chase in 18.4 overs to finish their tournament campaign with a win.

Jinja SS vs Ntare School

Jinja SS won by 55 runs
Jinja SS booked their place in the final with a convincing 55-run victory over Ntare School in the first semifinal.
Batting first, Jinja posted 126/7 in their 20 overs, with Hariom Dudareja top-scoring with 35. Kenneth Isiiko added 29, while Ssenyondo Juma contributed 21.
Ntare struggled in reply and managed 71/9 from their 20 overs.
Moses Nahabwe top-scored with 13, but Jinja’s disciplined bowling attack kept control throughout to secure a comfortable victory.
Shree Sahajanand Uganda vs Busoga College Mwiri

Shree SSU won by 72 runs
Shree Sahajanand Uganda continued their unbeaten campaign with a commanding 72-run victory over defending champions Busoga College Mwiri in the second semifinal.
Shree won the toss and elected to bat, posting 147/9 in their 20 overs.
Mwiri made a good start picking two wickets inside the power play but Shree later recovered well.
Smit Vekariya held the innings together with a late unbeaten 37, and Mwiri failed on shuffling bowler at the back end of the innings.
Okecho Jordan claimed three wickets for Mwiri, while Mwanja Malcom took two.
In reply, the defending champions struggled against a disciplined Shree bowling attack and were bowled out for 75 in 15.4 overs.
Jordan Okecho top-scored with 27, but wickets fell regularly as Shree remained firmly in control.
Hemant Jesani was the pick of the Shree bowlers with the second fifer in the tournament.
The result means Shree Sahajanand Uganda, the only unbeaten team in the competition, will meet Jinja SS in the SkyView Boys Schools Cricket Week final.
PLACEMENT SEMIFINALS
In the placement semifinals, the hosts Nyakasura school defeated St. James’ SS by 5 wickets while Gulu High School defeated Kira College Butiiki by 44 runs to advance to the Plate Final that will happen tomorrow morning.
CONCLUSION
