The 2026 UG20 League continued on Saturday and Sunday with another action-packed round of fixtures, as defending champions Ismaili Community CC began their title defence in winning fashion as they defeated Kutchi Tigers.

Tornado Bees CC vs Nile CC – Lugogo Cricket Oval (Morning Game)
Tornado Bees CC secured a 40-run victory over Nile CC under the DLS method at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Tornado Bees posted an imposing 209/2 in their 20 overs.
David Musoke top-scored with an unbeaten 68 off 42 balls, while Roger Galiwango Mukasa contributed 55 off 32 balls.
Ismail Munir also finished unbeaten on 50 off 36 balls.
Agaba Ryan and Okoth Joel took one wicket each for Nile CC.
In reply, Nile CC reached 126/6 in 16.1 overs before rain interrupted play, with the target subsequently revised to 167 runs.
Jimson Wankona led the scoring with a quick-fire 56 off 27 balls, while Joshua Luyuyo added 25.
Cyrus Kibukamusoke was the standout bowler for Tornado Bees, claiming three wickets, while baby cricket cranes Hamid Munigwa took two and Ismail Munir added one.
With the revised target of 167, Tornado Bees CC secured a 40-run victory under the DLS method.

Mukono Warriors CC continued their impressive run with a convincing 33-run victory over JACC at the Jinja SSS Cricket Ground.
Batting first, Mukono Warriors posted 116/9 in their 20 overs, with Musa Majid Ramathan top-scoring with 35.
Baby Cricket Cranes player Kenneth Isiiko was the standout bowler for JACC, taking three wickets.
JACC struggled in reply and were bowled out for 83 in 16.5 overs.
Aaron Kusasira top-scored with 18, but Mukono Warriors’ bowlers maintained control throughout the innings.
Robert Ajuna led the attack with an outstanding three-wicket haul for 13 runs as the Warriors secured another important victory.

JACC vs Mukono Warriors CC – Jinja SSS Cricket Ground (Afternoon Game)
JACC bounced back in the afternoon fixture, edging Mukono Warriors CC by three wickets at the Jinja SSS Cricket Ground.
Mukono Warriors, who won the toss and elected to bat, posted 126/9 in their 20 overs.
Alpesh Mepani top-scored with 27, while Arjun Keshwala contributed 21.
JACC’s bowlers shared the wickets, with Sowobi Yunus, Oyaga Sadam and Shabir Ullah taking two wickets each.
In reply, JACC reached 129/7 in 19.4 overs to secure victory.
Kenneth Isiiko led the chase with a match-winning 43, while Sowobi Yunus remained unbeaten on 31.
Ankur Thakur was Mukono Warriors’ standout bowler, taking three wickets, but JACC held their nerve to claim a three-wicket victory.

Defending champions Ismaili Community CC began their title defence with a positive start, defeating Kutchi Tigers CC by 30 runs under the DLS method at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Kutchi Tigers, who won the toss and elected to bat, posted 159/7 in their 20 overs.
Mayur Hirani top-scored with 53, while Nitin Jeshani smashed 30 off just 11 balls and Steven Wabwose added 28.
Kamran Wali Khan was the standout bowler for Ismaili Community CC, taking two wickets.
In reply, Ismaili reached 86/1 in 8.2 overs before rain interrupted play. Shehzad Khan top-scored with 47, while Kamran Wali Khan remained unbeaten on 26.
With the revised target set at 57 runs, Ismaili Community CC secured a 30-run victory under the DLS method.

Ismaili Community CC continued their dominance in the afternoon fixture, securing a 10-run victory over Kutchi Tigers CC.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Ismaili posted an impressive 164/5 in their 14 overs.
Pius Oloka top-scored with a brilliant unbeaten 55 off 24 balls, while Shehzad Khan smashed 31 off 14 balls and Ghulam Hunzai finished unbeaten on 34 off just 10 balls.
Vekariya Kush Mahesh was the standout bowler for Kutchi Tigers, taking two wickets.
In reply, Kutchi Tigers finished on 154/6 in their 14 overs.
Steven Wabwose produced a sensational unbeaten 86 off 33 balls, including eight fours and six sixes, but his explosive innings was not enough to take his side over the line.
Kamran Wali Khan and Junaid Khan took two wickets each for Ismaili, while Oloka Pius also claimed two wickets.
Ismaili held on to win by 10 runs and complete a strong opening day of their title defence.

Tornado CC secured a hard-fought 12-run victory over Soroti City CC at the Akbar Baig Cricket Ground.
Soroti City won the toss and elected to bowl, restricting Tornado CC to 131/5 in their 20 overs.
Shama Mukaya top-scored with 35, while Lawrence Ssempijja played a crucial unbeaten innings of 32 off 18 balls, including four fours and a six. Jaffer Ochaya added 29.
Stephen Okiror was the pick of the Soroti City bowlers, taking two wickets.
Soroti City finished their reply on 119/8 in 20 overs.
Emma Twijukye led the chase with an impressive 54 off 34 balls, including five fours and four sixes, but lacked sufficient support as wickets fell at regular intervals.
Lawrence Ssempijja was the standout bowler for Tornado CC, claiming three wickets for 21 runs as his side secured a 12-run victory.

Soroti City CC bounced back in the afternoon to avenge their earlier defeat, securing a convincing 60-run victory over Tornado CC.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Soroti City posted 139/7 in their 20 overs.
Juma Sururu top-scored with 30 off 19 balls, while Peter Ocen finished unbeaten on 25 off 15 balls and Ronald Ebulu added 24.
Ryan Tendo was the standout bowler for Tornado CC, taking two wickets.
Tornado CC struggled in reply against a disciplined Soroti City bowling attack and were bowled out for 79/9 in 18.2 overs.

Jignesh Pindoriya top-scored with an impressive 32 off 22 balls, while Rajesh Bandheri remained unbeaten on 25 off 37 balls and Chintan Kerai added 22 off 15 balls.
Atul Rana was the standout bowler for Avengers CC, taking three wickets for just seven runs.

In the afternoon again Kutchi Tigers B secured a hard-fought 13-run victory over Avengers CC.
Kutchi Tigers B posted 156/8 in their 20 overs, with Chintan Kerai top-scoring with an impressive 53 off 25 balls, including four fours and four sixes. Mayur Kerai added 31 off 28 balls, while Jignesh Kerai contributed 14 off seven balls.
Pravin Gadhvi was the standout bowler for Avengers CC, taking three wickets for 12 runs.
In reply, Avengers CC finished on 143/6 in their 20 overs. Timothy Kawanguzi top-scored with 32 off 38 balls, while Atul Rana added 28 off 18 balls and Rohan Singh contributed 24 off 22 balls.

Africa CC vs Iganga CC – GM Sugar Cricket Ground (Morning Game)
Africa CC welcomed back some of their experienced players, with Rokani Sylvester, Brian Kiiza and Emmy Odeng returning to the side for their UG20 clash against Iganga CC at the GM Sugar Cricket Ground.
Iganga CC won the toss and elected to bowl, restricting Africa CC to 82/6 in 18 overs. Emmy Odeng Edaku led the way with a patient unbeaten 52 off 59 balls, including seven fours.
Obote Joseph was the standout bowler for Iganga CC, taking two wickets.
Iganga narrowly chased down the target, reaching 84/9 in 17.4 overs to secure a thrilling one-wicket victory.
Xavier Musene top-scored with 23, while Dravin Brian Mwesigwa added 10 and Obote Joseph struck an unbeaten eight off just four balls to help seal the win.
Africa CC’s returning bowlers made an immediate impact, with Emmy Odeng Edaku claiming three wickets and Rokani Sylvester taking two.
However, Iganga held their nerve to edge home with just two balls remaining.
