The 2026 Cricket Uganda Women’s T20 National League Division Two continues with an interesting school-based contest as Tornado host Pioneer, with both sides looking for a positive result at Ndejje SS Cricket Ground.

Two school-based teams will meet on Day Nine of the competition, with Pioneer, predominantly made up of Masaka SS students, taking on Tornado, whose squad is largely composed of Ndejje SS students.

Day Nine

Division Two

Tornado vs Pioneer – Ndejje SS Cricket Ground

Tornado will be looking to build on their recent victory and keep their Division One promotion hopes alive when they host Pioneer.

Pioneer have struggled so far, losing all four matches they have played and sitting at the bottom of the table with zero points. They will be hoping to turn their fortunes around and register their first victory of the campaign.

Tornado, on the other hand, have won one and lost three of their four matches. They come into this fixture on the back of a 44-run victory over Nile Cricket Club, while Pioneer suffered a heavy 119-run defeat against JACC at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Two victories for Tornado on the day would take them to six points, just two behind second-placed Africa Cricket Club, and keep their promotion ambitions alive.

With another fixture against ACC scheduled for 14 November, Tornado will be eager to collect maximum points from their remaining matches, potentially winning twice on their final day to strengthen their chances of securing promotion to Division One.

For Tornado, this is a crucial opportunity to keep their promotion hopes in their own hands, while Pioneer will be desperate to get off the mark.
