Match Day Four of the 2026 SkyView Boys Schools Cricket Week marked the conclusion of the group stage and the beginning of the Super Eight and Placement Games, with defending champions Busoga College, Jinja SS and Ntare School making winning starts.
The morning session completed the group stage, with Masaka SS, Shree Sahajanand Uganda and Ntare School confirming their places in the Super Eight, while Kasese SS picked up their first win of the tournament.
Kira College Butiki’s Gideon Outeke was the standout individual performer, smashing 87 off 56 balls.

Ntare School won by 6 wickets
Ntare School secured their place in the Super Eight with a comfortable six-wicket victory over Shree International in their final Group A game.
The Mbarara side chased down Shree’s 51 inside 10 overs to register their third win of the tournament and finish second in Group A.
Ntare is now competing in Super Eight B alongside Group D winners Shree Sahajanand Uganda, Group B winners Masaka SS and Group C runners-up Soroti SS.
Shree International finished bottom of Group A without a win and will move into Placement D alongside Nyakasura and Ndejje SS.

Nyakasura won by 8 wickets
Hosts Nyakasura ended their group-stage campaign with an eight-wicket victory over debutants Uganda Martyrs College.
The hosts finished third in Group C after their defeat to Jinja SS on Tuesday ended their hopes of reaching the Super Eight.
Nyakasura will now compete in Placement D alongside Shree International and Ndejje SS.
Kasese SS vs Rwenzori HS – SLECK 2

Kasese won by 6 wickets
In Kasese district derby, Kasese SS picked up their first win of the tournament after defeating fellow winless side Rwenzori HS by six wickets.
Rwenzori were bowled out for 47 in 13.1 overs before Kasese chased down the target with 11 overs to spare.
Kasese finished fourth in Group D and will now face Gulu HS and Uganda Martyrs College in Placement B.

Gulu HS won by 87 runs
Gulu High School wrapped up the group stage with an 87-run victory over Kira College Butiki.
Okello Festo narrowly missed out on a half-century, falling one run short, as Gulu posted a competitive total before bowling out Kira for 66.
The victory saw Gulu finish third in Group A and move into Placement B alongside Uganda Martyrs and Kasese.
Ndejje SS vs GoodHeart SS – Nyakasura

Ndejje SS won by 6 runs
Ndejje SS finally registered their first victory of the tournament after edging GoodHeart by six runs.
The result saw Ndejje finish fourth in Group B with one win and move into Placement D alongside Shree International and hosts Nyakasura.
GoodHeart finished the group stage without a victory and will compete in Placement C alongside Kira College and Olila HS.
Masaka SS vs St. James’ SS – Canon Apollo
The Group B encounter between Masaka SS and St. James’ SS was abandoned due to a wet outfield, resulting in the points being shared.
Masaka finished top of Group B with 10 points, while St. James’ ended the group stage third with six points.
St. James’ will now compete in Placement A alongside St. Cornelius SS and Rwenzori HS.

Busoga College Mwiri won by 24 runs
Defending champions Busoga College Mwiri made a winning start to their Super Eight campaign with a 24-run victory over St. John’s HS Kauga.
The result gave the record winners an important opening victory in Super Eight A and set up a blockbuster encounter against arch-rivals Jinja SS on Thursday.
The two sides met in last year’s final, with Mwiri lifting the title, and Thursday’s clash could prove decisive in the race for a semi-final place.

Jinja SS won by 5 wickets
Five-time champions Jinja SS also opened their Super Eight campaign with victory, defeating debutants Lango College by five wickets.
Juma Ssenyondo and Adam Huzaifa starred with the ball, taking three wickets each as Lango were bowled out for 48 in 17.5 overs.
Jinja then completed the chase to make a winning start in Super Eight A.
They now face defending champions Busoga College Mwiri on Thursday morning in what promises to be one of the tournament’s biggest fixtures.
Ntare School vs Masaka SS – Nyakasura

Ntare School won by 17 runs
Ntare School made a winning start to Super Eight B with a 17-run victory over Masaka SS.
Ntare were bowled out for 101 in 19.5 overs before dismissing Masaka for 84 in 18.3 overs.
The result gives Ntare early control of the group, while Masaka will look to bounce back when they face Shree Sahajanand Uganda on Thursday.

Kira College won by 61 runs
Gideon Outeke produced the standout performance of the afternoon, smashing 87 off 56 balls to inspire Kira College Butiki to a 61-run victory over Olila HS in Placement C.
The former Teso College all-rounder followed his explosive innings with three wickets as Olila were bowled out for 69 in 13.1 overs.
Outeke’s 87 is the highest individual score of the tournament apart from Shree Sahajanand Uganda’s Devansh Patel, who hit 125 on Day Two.
St. James’ SS vs St. Cornelius SS – SLECK 2
St. James’ SS 118/7 | St. Cornelius SS 116/10
St. James’ SS won by 2 runs
St. James’ SS held their nerve to edge debutants St. Cornelius SS by just two runs in a thrilling Placement A encounter.
St. James’ posted 118/7 before St. Cornelius fell narrowly short, being bowled out for 116 in 15.4 overs.
Both sides will be out of action on Thursday and return on Friday for their next Placement A fixture.
Shree International vs Ndejje SS – SLECK 1

Ndejje SS won by 20 runs
Ndejje SS continued their improved form with a 20-run victory over Shree International in Placement D.
The result marked Ndejje’s second win of the tournament, while Shree International’s search for their first victory continues.
Shree will face hosts Nyakasura on Thursday as they look to finally get off the mark.
