Cricket Uganda celebrated the ICC Women’s Cricket Week on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Mt. St. Henry’s High School Mukono.
Running concurrently with the ongoing ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England and Wales, the afternoon event brought together over 200 female students for an immersive day of cricket.
The highlight of the day was the active involvement of the senior women’s national team, the Victoria Pearls, who took time off their elite schedules to personally mentor, coach, and inspire the next generation of female leaders and athletes.
From foundational bowling and batting clinics to high-energy fielding drills and friendly competitions, the field was alive with vibrant energy and talent.
