As it is Easter weekend, only one fixture will be held on Matchday Six of the Cricket Uganda Men’s 50-Over League.
The spotlight falls on two debutants, Iganga CC and Chennai CC, who clash at Lugogo Cricket Oval in a Bronze Group B encounter.
Iganga is largely composed of talented schoolboys from the district, while Chennai features players of Ugandan-Indian origin based in Chennai.
In the standings, Chennai sit third in Bronze Group B after one win, while Iganga are second-last, having lost their only game so far.

Iganga CC Vs Chennai CC – Lugogo Cricket Oval (Broze group B)
Chennai enter the fixture with confidence after a commanding opening victory against Africa CC on 22nd March 2026.
Batting first, they posted 164/7 in 25 overs, powered by Mohammed A.K.L. Hakkem’s explosive 89 off 55 balls and Amogh Kothari’s steady 29, with support from Ratheesh S. Pillai and Barath Balakrishnan helping set a competitive total.

Chasing a revised target of 163 under the D/L method, Africa CC were bowled out for 106 in 21 overs, with Kamlesh Meghlani and Barath Balakrishnan taking three wickets each.
Chennai will hope their player of the match that day, Mohammed A.K.L. Hakkem, fires again.
Iganga will be chasing their first win after an 80-run defeat to Centurion A on 28th February 2026.
Batting first, Centurion A posted 129/8 in 18.3 overs, with Gerald Orumo leading the charge with a quickfire 40 off 24 balls.
Extras and contributions from Micheal Lwamafa and Derrick Miiro helped set a competitive total. Chasing 130, Iganga struggled against disciplined bowling, collapsing to 49 all out in 13 overs.
Otema Paul picked up three wickets, while Micheal Lwamafa claimed four.
Iganga will look for form from Makesh Patel and the experience of John Kenny Lukwita to spark their challenge.
