Day 10 of the Cricket Uganda Men’s 50-Over League saw commanding performances from GM Sugar and Tornado Bees in the Gold Category, while SKLPS CC held their nerve in a tense Silver Category encounter to continue their winning run.

GM Sugar delivered a dominant bowling performance before completing a modest chase to defeat Mukono Warriors CC by five wickets at GM Sugar Cricket Ground.
After being sent in to bat, Mukono Warriors were bowled out for just 72 in 25 overs.
Ronald Lutaaya top-scored with 14 off 21 balls, while Harish Vaghjiyani added an unbeaten 11 towards the end.
Gerald Olipa contributed only 7, but the rest of the batting lineup struggled against a relentless bowling attack, losing wickets at regular intervals.
Vinitkumar Chhaganbhai Patel starred with the ball, producing a sensational spell of 7/19 in 7 overs to dismantle the Mukono Warriors batting lineup.
Henry Ssenyondo provided strong support with 2/19, while Siraje Nsubuga chipped in with a wicket as GM Sugar bundled out their opponents cheaply.
In reply, GM Sugar approached the chase cautiously despite losing wickets along the way.
Simon Ssesazi scored 15 while Kevinkumar Patel added 12 before both were dismissed, putting some early pressure on the chase.
Bhavikkumar Kantilal Patel then steadied the innings with an unbeaten 17, while Vinitkumar Chhaganbhai Patel sealed the victory with a quick 5 not out as GM Sugar reached the target in 19.4 overs.
Mukono Warriors CC picked up five wickets through Hemant Hirani, Fahad Mutagana and Jignesh Vekariya, but the low total offered little resistance.

Rounders CC vs Tornado Bees CC – Entebbe Cricket Ground

Tornado Bees CC produced a dominant all-round performance, led by a clinical bowling display before completing a comfortable chase to defeat Rounders CC by eight wickets at Entebbe Cricket Ground.
Rounders CC were handed their first loss of the season.
The victory earned Tornado Bees two valuable points in the CU Men’s 50 Overs League old, further strengthening their position on the table.
After being sent in to bat, Rounders CC were bowled out for 124 in 42.2 overs.
Aman Preet Singh top-scored with a patient 53 off 109 balls, striking three boundaries, while Numan Mohammad added 19 off 20 deliveries.
Irishad Suleman contributed 9 at the top, but the rest of the batting lineup struggled to build partnerships, with wickets falling at regular intervals.
Hamid Munigwa starred with the ball for Tornado Bees, delivering a match-winning spell of 5/22 in 10 overs.
Cosmas Kyewuta provided strong support with 3/30, while Suleman Sharif chipped in with a wicket as Rounders were restricted to a modest total.
In reply, Tornado Bees approached the chase with control despite losing two early wickets.
Suleman Sharif scored 15 while Yadav Chanchal added 19 before both were dismissed, leaving the chase in the hands of the middle order.
Anas Baig then took charge with an outstanding unbeaten 67 off 44 balls, striking five fours and three sixes, while David Musoke anchored the innings with a steady 24 not out as the pair guided Tornado Bees to the target in 27.4 overs.
Rounders CC picked up two wickets through Aman Preet Singh and a run-out, but the total proved too small to defend.

SKLPS CC held their nerve in a tense low-scoring encounter to edge Wanderers CC by two wickets at Serenity Oval, Kamengo.

After being put in to bat, Wanderers CC were bowled out for 133 in 43.2 overs.
Rudra Prajapati top-scored with a well-made 43 off 57 balls, striking three fours and three sixes, while Magwa Arthur added a late unbeaten 26 to push the total past 130.
Ivan Kakande contributed 11, but the rest of the batting lineup struggled to build partnerships against a disciplined SKLPS bowling attack.
Gajpariya Rinkesh Ramesh led the effort with 3/22, while Vishal Bandheri and Bavesh Gorasiya picked up two wickets apiece.
Varsani Nimesh Shamji and Dinesh Manji Vekariya also chipped in with a wicket each to restrict Wanderers to a modest total.
In reply, SKLPS CC endured a shaky start, losing early wickets and slipping to 36/5, putting Wanderers firmly in control.
Navin Pindoria then anchored the recovery with a patient 37 off 72 balls, while Mansukh Gorasiya added 11 to stabilize the innings.
Late contributions from Bhavesh Hirani, who remained unbeaten on 17, and Vishal Bandheri, who added 7 not out, proved decisive as the pair guided SKLPS to the target in 38.4 overs.
