Royals: 131/7 in 19 overs
Result: Royals won by 3 Wickets

Under the bright Entebbe sun, the MAXX T20 Challenge Cup clash between the Warriors and the Royals unfolded with drama from the very first ball.
Ronald Lutaaya anchored the Warriors’ innings with a steady 39, while late contributions from Abdul Basit Habib and Christopher Kidega lifted the total to a competitive 130/5.

The Royals’ chase began shakily as wickets fell at regular intervals, leaving them under pressure at 66/4.
But the momentum shifted when Cyrus Kakuru arrived with bold intent.
Partnering with Jonathan Nyiiro, the pair forged a crucial 51-run stand for the fifth wicket, igniting belief in the Royals’ camp.
Kakuru’s explosive 38 off 25 balls and Nyiiro’s composed 14 steadied the innings at a moment of real crisis.
Though both batters departed in the 18th over, Jonathan Ssebanja’s calm cameo ensured the Royals crossed the line with one over to spare, sealing victory by three wickets.
The day, however, belonged to Joseph Baguma, whose brilliant 5-wicket spell tore through the Royals’ top order and earned him a well-deserved Player of the Match award.
Despite ending on the losing side, his performance was the heartbeat of a thrilling contest.

Gladiators vs Titans – Afternoon Game
Toss: Gladiators won the toss and elected to bat
Gladiators: 144/5 in 20 overs
Titans: 125/7 in 20 overs
Result: Gladiators won by 19 runs

In the afternoon, the MAXX T20 Challenge Cup continued with a spirited clash between the Gladiators and the Titans.
The Gladiators’ innings started shakily after early breakthroughs from Enock Kasaija, who removed Suleman Sharif and Brian Asaba in quick succession.
When skipper Gerald Olipa and wicketkeeper batter Ronald Omara also fell cheaply, the scoreboard read an uneasy 42/4, and the Titans seemed firmly on top.
But the innings transformed when Dan Keith Amani took charge.
Displaying composure and calculated aggression, Amani crafted a magnificent 59 off 47 balls, stabilizing the innings while keeping the scoreboard moving.
He found ideal support in Paul Mulongo, whose fluent 44 off 36 helped the Gladiators rebuild from deep trouble to post a competitive 144/5.
Chasing 145, the Titans’ innings stumbled immediately as Amos Ahura fell for a duck.
Although Conrad Lubwama and Ronald Magezi tried to settle the nerves, wickets fell steadily, and the pressure mounted.
At 61/5, the Titans were staring at a steep climb.
However, Ismail Munir revived the chase with a composed 38 off 32, supported by a spirited late push from Geofrey Kakaire (20 off 16).
Their partnership rekindled hopes, but the Gladiators’ bowlers—led by the excellent Jonathan Kizza, who claimed 3/17—struck at crucial moments to halt the comeback.

Despite the late resistance, the Titans ultimately finished on 125/7, falling 19 runs short.
The performance of the day undoubtedly belonged to Dan Keith Amani, whose all-round calmness under pressure turned the match around and earned him a well-deserved Player of the Match award.
