In a major step toward fostering a healthier, more supportive, and high-performing work environment, Cricket Uganda has officially launched a comprehensive workplace wellness program for its administrative and technical staff.
The initiative aims to address the holistic well-being of the team behind the game, focusing heavily on mental wellness, physical health, and professional work-life harmony.
Because sports administration demands high energy, tight tournament schedules, and constant adaptability, Cricket Uganda is proactively investing in the people who keep the sport running nationwide.
The program brings structured, performance-centred well-being directly into the corporate culture.
Staff will participate in mental health workshops, physical mobility support and energy-management protocols designed to combat sedentary office routines and keep the team energised throughout the season.
By integrating these wellness strategies into daily operations, Cricket Uganda is establishing a healthier work-life balance and setting a progressive standard for sports organisations in the region.
The first session took place on Friday, 4th June 2026, at Lugogo to improve staff wellbeing.
