Day Six Fixtures

October 9
Centurion vs Pak Shaheens – Entebbe Cricket Oval
Centurion CC and Pak Shaheens CC will renew their rivalry on Independence Day, with both sides having plenty of motivation after their meeting earlier this year.
The two teams met in the Cricket Uganda Men’s 50 Overs League Bronze Category final in June, where Pak Shaheens emerged victorious with a six-wicket win at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Centurion, batting first, were bowled out for 128 despite Jimmy Atuhairwe’s 67, with Simon Okecho taking a remarkable seven wickets for Pak Shaheens.
In reply, Pak Shaheens chased down the target in 20.2 overs, with Athar Ali unbeaten on 46.
Friday’s Independence Day clash offers Centurion an opportunity for revenge, while Pak Shaheens will be looking to prove that their Bronze final victory was no fluke.
Pak Shaheens are bottom of Group B with no points after losing twice to Ceylon Lions last Sunday, while Centurion sit fourth with two points from their two games against Wanderers.

It is still early in the tournament for either side to have their fate decided, but both will be looking for a positive result to improve their position in the group.
Robert Owili, who was unavailable last Sunday, will return to boost the Pak Shaheens side as he faces his former bosses at Centurion.
His firepower could be important as Pak Shaheens look to get their campaign back on track.
Centurion, meanwhile, will only be without Fred Achelam, with the rest of their squad available for selection.
With the previous Bronze final still fresh in the minds of both teams, the Independence Day encounter promises another exciting chapter in their rivalry.
Mukono Development vs SKLPS – GM Sugar Oval
In the other Group B fixture on Independence Day, Mukono Development will face SKLPS at GM Sugar Oval.
Mukono Development had a difficult outing last Satuarday, losing twice to Wanderers at Lugogo, and will be looking to bounce back to winning ways.
SKLPS, on the other hand, have played four games, winning three and losing one to collect six points.

They will be looking to add more points as they keep their eyes on the playoff places.
The two teams will be meeting for the first time, adding another element to the contest as both sides look to gain an early advantage in their new rivalry.
With both Group B fixtures taking place on Independence Day, the results could have an important impact on the playoff race as teams continue to fight for the top two positions.
