Clarrise Umutoniwase led the early charge with 17 runs off 27 balls, while Gisele Ishimwe added 16.

However, the real momentum shift came from Alice Ikuzwe, whose explosive cameo of 16 runs off just 11 balls (striking at 145.45) pushed Rwanda to a respectable total.
The USA’s bowling attack put up a formidable fight, led by captain Aditiba Indrajitsinh Chudasama, who bagged 3/20 in 4 overs, and Taranum Chopra, who was remarkably economical with 2/10 in 4 overs.
