Wabwose inspires Mburo Blasters in thrilling 20-run win
The morning encounter saw Mburo Blasters pile up a massive 197/10 in 19.5 overs after a powerful batting display across the lineup.

Further contributions came from Yashashvi Joshi (29), David Wabwire (29) and Steven Wabwose, who added a useful 12 as Mburo pushed close to 200.

Bunyonyi Warriors’ bowlers had mixed success, with Kassim Adam claiming three wickets and Johnathan Nyiiro also taking three, but the damage had already been done by Mburo’s top order assault.
Chasing 198, Bunyonyi Warriors responded strongly through a brilliant opening partnership. Robinson Obuya smashed 64 off 42 balls, while Anas Baig matched him with a blistering 62 off 30 deliveries.

However, once the stand was broken, Mburo’s bowling attack regained control.

Cyrus Kakuru anchored the innings with a composed 50 off 36 deliveries, while Conrad Lubwama added a quick 29 and Juma Miyaji contributed 24 to push Kyoga to a strong total.
