In the morning fixture, Kyoga Avengers registered their first victory of the tournament with a 13-run win over Victoria Strikers in a contest dominated by disciplined bowling performances.
Batting first, Kyoga Avengers were bowled out for 129 in 18.5 overs after a mixed innings that saw several batters make starts without converting them into substantial scores.

Despite regular wickets falling around him, Munir ensured Kyoga posted a competitive total.
Victoria Strikers were impressive with the ball.
Pius Oloka led the attack with a four-wicket haul, while Christopher Kidega claimed three wickets.
Kenneth Waiswa also chipped in with two wickets as the Strikers repeatedly struck to prevent Kyoga from building major partnerships.
Chasing 130 for victory, Victoria Strikers endured a disastrous start, losing three wickets for just one run inside the opening over.
Perry Wazombe attempted to rescue the chase with a patient 59 off 60 balls, while Ahurra Amos contributed 20 runs, but the required momentum never materialised.

Kyoga’s bowlers maintained relentless pressure throughout the innings, with Juma Miyaji and Gerald Olipa picking up two wickets apiece.
Their disciplined effort restricted Victoria Strikers to 116/9 in 18.5 overs, handing the Avengers a deserved 13-run victory.

If Bunyonyi’s innings was explosive, Mburo’s reply was simply extraordinary.
