Day Three of the Boundary Banters T20 League saw Africa Cricket Club (ACC) deliver a commanding double victory over Mukono Development at the Florida Cricket Ground, a performance that propelled them to the top of the league standings at the end of the day.
In the first encounter, ACC posted a modest 99/4 in their 20 overs, anchored by a brilliant unbeaten 56 off 65 balls from Hemant Hiran.
Despite a disciplined bowling effort from Mukono Development, ACC’s total proved just enough.
In reply, Mukono struggled to build partnerships and were restricted to 85/7, falling 14 runs short. Hiran’s all-round impact earned him the Player of the Match award.
The second fixture was a more dominant display from ACC, who piled up 161/3 in their 20 overs. Mansuk Gorasiya led the charge with a fluent 57 off 45 balls, well supported by Navin Pindoria (41) and Hemant Hiran (26).
Mukono Development responded bravely but were always behind the required rate, eventually finishing on 131/9 as ACC sealed a 30-run win.
Gorasiya’s match-winning knock earned him the Player of the Match accolade.
With back-to-back victories, ACC climbed to the summit of the Boundary Banters T20 League standings, strengthening their title ambitions after three days of action.
