Cricket Uganda has joined hands with Life Church Uganda to support the Bulamu Charity Run 2026, taking place this Saturday, 2nd May 2026, at the Life Church Uganda grounds.
The run is geared towards raising support for vulnerable children and families served by Bulamu Child Support.
By participating, the runners will be directly contributing to keeping children in school, improving access to healthcare, and strengthening families across communities.
To support the cause, Cricket Uganda has partnered with Life Church to purchase the official event kit.
Each kit contains:
- Running Shirt
- Running Shorts
- Branded Water Bottle
Speaking on the community-driven partnership, Cricket Uganda Chief Executive Officer Evelyn K.B. Shinyekwa emphasised Cricket Uganda’s dedication to social impact:
Our vision at Cricket Uganda extends far beyond the boundary ropes. We believe in building strong, healthy communities through active engagement. The Bulamu Charity Run and the work done by Bulamu Child Support align perfectly with our goal of uplifting the next generation and making a lasting, positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
Life Church Uganda also welcomed the collaboration, highlighting the shared values of teamwork, wellness, and mutual upliftment.

Bulamu Child Support is a ministry we began here at Life Church about 4 years ago and we go to rural places and find children who are unable to stay in School and we help them stay in School. So this year we are doing a fundraiser through a charity run and we want to thank Cricket Uganda for partnering with us.”
