Cricket Uganda is proud to announce a new partnership with Jibu Corporate Uganda Ltd, a collaboration that will see Jibu provide essential hydration support to the national teams.
Signed on April 28, 2026, this Memorandum of Understanding marks a significant step in strengthening both sport and community engagement.

Under the agreement, Jibu will supply bottles of water to national team training sessions throughout the year.
In addition, Jibu will recognise excellence by rewarding the top three performers at the conclusion of each domestic league season. In return, Cricket Uganda will provide Jibu with branding opportunities.
This ensures that Jibu’s commitment to community and sport is showcased across platforms and events, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in Uganda’s cricket journey.
Speaking at the signing, Cricket Uganda CEO Evelyn K.B. Shinyekwa emphasised the importance of partnerships that go beyond sponsorship:
This partnership with Jibu is very valuable to us as Cricket Uganda, and it will support the hydration of our National Team players during their training sessions.

Jibu Corporate Uganda Ltd’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Brenda Kembabazi, echoed this sentiment:
Hydration and Sports work hand-in-hand. Show me a sports person who’s not hydrated, and I will show you someone who’s not doing well on the pitch. So what better way than to come into relationships with Sports Associations here in Uganda, as we did now with Cricket Uganda. We hope for a good relationship where we shall be able to hydrate all the players on their training days.
This partnership reflects Cricket Uganda’s broader vision of grassroots empowerment, inclusivity, and sustainable development.
With Jibu’s support, players will not only stay refreshed but also motivated to perform at their best, knowing their efforts will be recognised and celebrated.
