Ismaili Community delivered a dominant all-round performance to secure a commanding 93-run victory over Wanderers CC at Entebbe Cricket Oval.

After being sent in to bat, Ismaili Community CC posted a formidable 191/7 in their 29 overs. Shehzad Khan was the standout performer, smashing a brilliant 106 off 84 balls to anchor the innings with authority.

Imtiaz Ali provided valuable support with an unbeaten 31, while Junaid Khan chipped in with 18 to push the total to a competitive score.

Wanderers CC’s bowling effort was led by Eric Mukisa, who picked up three wickets in an economical spell. Arthur Magwa, Julius Okema and Rudra Prajapati claimed a wicket each to keep things somewhat in check.

In reply, Wanderers CC endured a disastrous start, losing three wickets for just 3 runs in the opening overs. Despite a fighting 25 from Rudra Prajapati and 24 from Ivan Kakande, the chase never gained momentum.

Ismaili Community CC’s bowling unit proved too strong, with Juma Miyaji and Junaid Khan picking up two wickets each, while Nazim Punjwani and Ghulam Hunzai also claimed two apiece to wrap up the innings for 98 in 23.1 overs.

Ismaili Community CC remains top of the Silver Category table with 5 points from 5 games, maintaining an unbeaten run.
