Comfortable chase secures nine-wicket win while rain denies action in morning fixture

Day three of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Division 2 Qualifier at Entebbe Cricket Oval featured just one completed match after the morning encounter between Mozambique and Malawi was abandoned without a ball bowled.

In the afternoon fixture, Sierra Leone delivered a dominant all-round display to defeat Cameroon by nine wickets, registering their first victory of the tournament.

The scheduled morning contest between Mozambique and Malawi at Entebbe Cricket Oval was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain.

The win marked Sierra Leone’s first success of the competition, while Cameroon remains without a victory after three matches.
