Cricket Uganda continued to strengthen its engagement with key national stakeholders, as CEO Evelyn K.B. Shinyekwa led the marketing team in a meeting with the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB).
The discussions, held with UTB Marketing Manager Francis Nyende, explored potential areas of collaboration between cricket and tourism, underscoring the shared vision of promoting Uganda’s identity through sport and culture.
Following the meeting, Cricket Uganda presented replica jerseys to UTB CEO Juliana Kagwa and Mr Nyende.

The gesture symbolized goodwill and highlighted the role of cricket as a unifying force that can complement Uganda’s tourism and cultural promotion efforts.

UTB is a statutory government agency established in 1994 (reconstituted in 2008) responsible for promoting Uganda as a competitive, sustainable tourism destination both domestically and internationally.
