Cricket Uganda (formerly the Uganda Cricket Association – UCA) announces that player Pascal Murungi has been suspended from all cricket-related activities for a period of three years, as investigations continue for other breaches of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code.

This follows the outcome of a Disciplinary Committee (DC) hearing held on December 18, 2025, at Lugogo.

The committee determined that the player engaged in acts which compromised or had the potential to compromise the integrity of the game.

Cricket Uganda remains committed to safeguarding the values of cricket and ensuring accountability across all levels of the sport.

This decision reflects our dedication to upholding integrity, protecting the reputation of the game, and reinforcing the standards expected of all participants.

Cricket Uganda will continue sensitising all stakeholders, including players, on issues related to the integrity of the ‘Game of Cricket’.
