Skyview is proud to announce its partnership with the Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) as the title sponsor of the Skyview Boys’ Schools Cricket Week 2023 edition that will be held in Jinja City from 26th August to 1st September, 2023 featuring 16 secondary schools from across the country.
Skyview will facilitate the tournament with a sponsorship package of Uganda Shillings 30 million (UGX 25 Million in cash to UCA and UGX 5 Million for media engagements). This money will be used to organize the tournament and support the game of cricket.
With this sponsorship, the company aims to further its commitment towards promoting young talent and fostering a spirit of adventure.
Speaking during the press launch at Uganda Olympic Committee Premises in Lugogo, the Public Relations Manager at Hariss International, Ms. Ishta Atukunda said, "It gives us immense pleasure to associate ourselves with the youth and flagship cricket competition for boys’ secondary schools in Uganda. The game of cricket promotes the values of teamwork and sportsmanship, and this partnership is a true testament to that."
She added, “Skyview believes in pushing boundaries and going beyond the limits. With this partnership, we hope to inspire young minds to pursue their dreams fearlessly and live life to the fullest."

“The Schools Cricket Week is the premium boys’ tournament which is used to select players to represent Uganda at age group tournaments and the purpose is to give the next generation an opportunity to showcase their talent as well as create long-lasting memories.” said the CEO of the Uganda Cricket Association, Mr. Allan Mugume.
The tournament will witness some of Uganda’s best Cricket boys’ teams from all over the country battling it out for the top spot. The event promises to be a thrilling experience for players and spectators alike.
The participating schools are Kololo SSS, Ndejje SSS, Dehli Public School, St John’s Kauga, St John’s Mukono, Busoga College Mwiri, Jinja SSS, Good Heart, Lords Meade, Kiira College Butiki, Masaka SSS, Ntare School, Nyakasura, Kilembe SSS , St John’s Layibi and Teso College Aloet.
