KAMPALA-Elite franchises Warriors and Knights hit the road to Nairobi on Thursday hoping they can win their duels and script an all Ugandan East Africa Cup final.
After completing the group games over the weekend, last year’s runners-up Warriors play Express Ndovus on Saturday while 2011 runners-up Knights play Twenty20 East Africa Premier League (EAPL) champions Rising Star Chuis.
The two weekend fixtures are the exact repeats of the EAPL semifinals played three weeks ago.
“We are going to turn tables,” those were words of Warriors’ left-arm bowler Charles Waiswa after yesterday’s morning gym session at Hotel Africana. Warriors defeated Ndovus before losing the final to Chuis.
