Dr Kato Sebbaale has been appointed a trustee by the AGM of Uganda Cricket that was held on 24/02/2024 at Kati Kati. Dr Sebbaale replaces the Late Enock Barumba as a trustee of Uganda Cricket.

Dr Sebbaale has served as a Chairman for Uganda Cricket (2008 - 2012) and joins Mr Steve Lumonya and Parminder Singh Garcha as trustees.

“I am honored and delighted to get back to serving  Uganda Cricket Association. Cricket in Uganda has had a long journey to get to where we are now. We have had a number of successful stories like having pioneered one of the best development programs in the world, the under 19 men’s team has had many attempts at the under 19 men’s World Cup tournaments, the Victoria Pearls are African Queens and now the Cricket Cranes have qualified for the T20 World Cup.  My pledge to the Cricket fraternity that put trust in me  as their trustee is I will do my very best to make sure all these successes are not only maintained but improved on and to be sure that the game is managed at a level of unparalleled transparency” Dr AK Sebbaale.

The trustees of Uganda Cricket served two year terms of three years each.
