The PNG Barramundis side will tour Uganda for a four match 50 over series against the Cricket Cranes from September 16th – 22nd. PNG will be visiting Uganda for the 1st time and will use the tour to prepare for their Challenge League A 1st leg in Kenya.
The Cricket Cranes will use the same tour to prepare for the 1st leg of the Challenge League B that will be hosted by Uganda from November 5th – 16th. Cricket Cranes Head Coach Abhay Sharma will have a chance to look at his boys in a different format since he took charge of the team.
The two sides were in the same group at the 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies, with the Cricket Cranes winning the contest in Guyana. However, this time they will compete against each other in a different format.
The four-match series will be played at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe.
