After the confirmation of Oman as hosts of the Div 2 World Cricket League qualifiers in November this year. The fixtures of the tournament that will run from Nov 7th to 21st have also been released.

The six nation tournament will be played at two venues in Oman which gives teams some time to recover between their games in the heat of desert. This playing format also means that the tournament will be played over three weeks unlike the previous events that are held over two weeks. 

Uganda qualified for this event after they won the Div 4 WCL in Malaysia in May this year and they will take on Denmark a side they qualified with in their opening encounter. 

The cricket cranes will then take on the USA in game two, the East African derby with Kenya has been penciled in as game 3, there after they will face Singapore in Game 4 before taking on the hosts Oman in the last game of the qualifiers.

The top two teams after the round robin will be promoted from Div two with the bottom two sides relegated to Div four with 3rd and 4th teams staying in Div 3. The is tournament starts off the road to the 2023 World Cup as associates battle each other to have a chance to make it to the main event. 

Coach Steve Tikolo and his troops have put in some impressive performances since Malaysia and recently qualified for the next round of qualifiers for the t20 world cup.

Nov 9th - Uganda v Denmark

Nov 10th - Uganda v USA

Nov 13th - Uganda v Kenya

Match 16th - Singapore v Uganda

Match 18th - Oman v Uganda
