Tornado Bee CC 129/5 in 20 overs lost to Jinja SS130/8 in 19.5 overs by 2 wickets.
The Jinja trip gives many teams big thoughts. No team will never be sure of what to expect when they travel across the Nile. Tornado Bee went over in search f two wins to enable them qualify for knock out stage. Tornado Bee very well knew they had to give it their whole now that their big guns are away on a national duty.
Morning Game.

With their big guns away on national duty, the Jinja SSS team came knowing they had a chance at winning this game. Having lost the toss, Jinja SS was put in to field and they displayed the type of fielding that really supported their bowlers. The bowlers did hit the right channels as they managed to restrict the experienced Tornado side to 1269/5 in 20 overs. Sam Kett 56(49) and Francis Ndege 24(31) did do all they could to up their score but John Lukwitta 3/17 in 4 overs who later walked home with man of Match was up for the challenge.
Jinja SS came to chase a score they really felt was within range but truth be told the bowlers were built to bowl such spells. They Tornado Bee experienced bowlers still pull this off. Captain Jeremy Kibuuka Musoke did all in his thinking arsenal. He did juggle bowlers around so much and was 2 wickets away from victory but defeated was already paired with Tornado Bee. Brilliant innings from Hassan Mpanuka 31(40) and Bwire Derrick 39(34) were enough to deny Tornado Bee victory. They had a painful loss which on Jinja SS side was a very joyful win. To the Jinja side, it was a memorable win for the school boys.

The Bees came back wanting to sting the opponents so bad but with precaution. They had to display maximum playing discipline both in the batting and the bowling if they were to leave with at least some match points for the day. Cyrus Kibukamusoke 57, Kebba Nicholas 26 not out were key in pilling the runs for the Bees. They needed the type of innings that would give them a safe score. JACC bowlers were not up for the task as the opponents kept on scoring at 8 an over to a total of 165.
Having watched the morning game, JACC had some notes to look at on how to maneuver around the Bees bowling attack. It was a game that was both pressure and action packed. Ama Jamal 72(51) a regular absentee, wanted to sink the opponent for the second time on the same day. Wicket picking spells from Abdalla Lubega 2/28 in 4 overs and Ali Mulindwa 2/29 in 4 overs did do the magic for the Bees to restrict JACC from gaining victory. They fell 18 runs shot of a lifetime sort of happiness.
At the of the day, Jinja SSS have a very great chance of qualifying to the T20 knock out stage for the very first time. Tornado Bee have a very high chance of missing the knock out stage for the first time in the last four years while JACC live to fight again for home ground Dominance.
