The lakeside oval was the venue for a low scoring thriller match between the Avengers and the Wanderers that was peppered with a number of close calls. The first round had the two teams facing off with the Avengers claiming the win by two runs, but fortunes reversed this time round to see the men in blue win by a single wicket.

Avengers won the toss, choosing to bat and the Wanderers bowlers did not hold back, bringing down four wickets in the first eleven overs. Kothari (30 off 34 balls), assisted by Karan Joshi (18 off 52 balls) made the effort to hold the wickets but man of the match Nirav (4/39) was quick to destabilize the batsmen. Together with the slow Entebbe wicket, Wanderers had the Avengers all out for 106 runs.

The second innings kicked off after lunch and the Avengers kicked off in a determined manner, with contributions from Abu Seguya (32 off 59 balls) and Zulu Walaza (16 off 26 balls) giving Wanderers the advantage, until the wickets began to descend fast in the 14th over going from 47/1 to 67/4 in 19 overs. Kush Vekariya (4/32) and Kerai Karan (3/21) inflicted the most damage on the batsmen until the lower order began to steady ship bringing the range from 21 runs to six with two wickets left. The Avengers turned up the heat bringing down the ninth wicket when Wanderers were only two runs away from a win, which had the all reminiscing the last match together, but the two batsmen scored a run a piece to give them victory.
