Kyambogo Oval - 10:30am

Strikers CC Vs KICC

Strikers who currently sit in third place welcome KICC who are in sixth at the university oval in Kyambogo. Both teams come into the fixture with the assurance of sticking in the division for another season with Premier and Ceylon Lions guaranteed of relegation.

When the two sides met in the first round, the Strikers stole the win with a one wicket win over KICC. This match can be looked at as a grudge match with KICC looking to avenge their first round loss. With Strikers looking forward to finishing in third position, they can’t afford to let sixth placed KICC get into their way.

KICC however hope to bag some points in this encounter and perhaps move up to fifth.  With both teams having won their previous games convincingly, confidence levels are high and a win could go either way depending on how each side contains the pressure.

Zephaniah Arinaitwe will return for the Strikers after having a successful tournament in South Africa with a notable ton coming in one of the games. Strikers will look to capitalize on his form to give them the much needed lift for the game.

K.IC.C who have heavily relied on national star Ifran Afridi Mohammed who has exhibited some all round masterclass performances for his team. Davis Karashani and Frank Nsubuga are also some of the key figures to watch out for with the ability to propel their team forward in any game.
