Budo Oval
AVENGERS CC v KC BUDO CC
AVENGERS CC 338/6 Chintan Kerai 105 not out off 94 balls, Mehmood Hamza 91 off 110 balls in 50 overs beat KC BUDO CC 95/10 Kiiza Jonathan 25 off 16 balls, Michael Lwamafa 24 off 50 balls in 22 overs by 243 runs

Player of match: Chintan Kerai

Chintan Kerai was the destroyer in chief as Avengers blew away Budo to complete a 243 runs win. Budo who are bottom of the Div two table are fighting for to stay in Div two and this loss further compounds their misery.

Avengers won the toss and chose to bat a decision that proved great as they clobbered the ball to all corners of the small Budo oval. Opening batsman Chintan Kerai (105) scored his 1st career century leading the way for his team and he got able support from Mehmood Hamza (91) as Avengers posted a commanding 338 for 6 in 50 overs.

In the chase pace man Arun Panchal (6/32) never allowed Budo to get going picking up wickets when the chase seemed to be gaining any momentum.  Budo was bundled out for 95 in only 22 overs.

The win keeps Avengers in the hunt for promotion staying in touch with the leaders Tornado and Patidar while the loss piles more misery on Budo who are still rooted at the bottom of the Div two table.

Budo will need to find to buy a win if they are to survive relegation while Avengers need to keep winning so that they can have an outside chance of being promoted to Div one.
