Wanderers and ACC faced off in Jinja on a very uneven Jinja turf in a game that ACC needed to keep chase with the leading pack while Wanderers needed to pull away from the relegation places.

Wanderers won the toss and chose to field a decision that seemed a wise as ACC was pegged back by Wanderers spinners Nirav Hathi and Thaha Syeed. Brian Kiiza dropped anchor for 28 overs ensuring that the team played around him with Marvin Kitamirike stayed with Brian Kiiza the 2 going about their in a very quiet manner.

The both departed with ACC at 100/3 in 30 overs and with wickets in hand they needed to go big if they were to put on a big total. John Ilukor rode his luck being put down twice stroking a quick fire half century while Kasujja Quarish also chipped in with a tidy 45 not out. ACC ended up scoring a big 258 for 7 after they managed to score over 159 runs in the last 20 overs.

In the chase Wanderers started slowly but surely but once Walaza Zulu was back in the hut with score board reading 16 runs, the rest of the wickets just kept coming.

WandereArs batsmen will be guilty of trying to play so many shots apart from picking their shots wisely and only a partnership between Abu Sseguya and Nirav Hathi reduced the margin of victory. Unfortunately Wanderers lost big all-rounder Abbi Norbert after he was hit on the head by a ferrous bouncer from Erumaka Timothy who had to retire hurt.

ACC got some much needed points as they try and keep with table leaders Tornado and Patidar while Wanderers need to buy a win to get away from relegation.
