Karago CC Vs ADDT

The second round of fixtures return in Division 3 with Karago CC taking on ADDT at the Lugogo cricket oval. The last time the two teams met, it was ADDT that walked away as victors in a closely fought encounter.

Karago have put in the time in training back at home in Fort Portal and will be looking to better their fortunes on Saturday. Despite losing a majority of games in the first round, they have looked a lot like a side learning from their mistakes and the second round will provide the grounds to see how much they have learnt.

For ADDT, Saturdays fixture will be one where they look to shake off the rust. Throughout the first round, they played a lot like contenders for promotion into the 2nd Division leaving most their opposition stunned. Round two of games as we have come to experience will either make or break them but promotion into division two will be determined in a few short weeks from now.

Nyakasura School CC Vs Jinja SS

Two schools, rich in tradition and history will lock horns at the premises of yet another history and tradition laden school to start off their second round of fixtures. Jinja SS and Nyakasura school will travel for this one and meet at the Kings College Budo Oval for the second time this season.

This clash has roots dating back to the schools’ cricket week tournaments over the years that has always brought out the best from both. In the past, Jinja SS would always get the win with such ease that Nyakasura had to contend with the label of underdog.

Jinja SS has continued to dominate in the sport but the critics will say that Nyakasura has made vast improvements to their game. The margins are no longer so far apart that the Jinja SS coach Habib Mugalula always has to field a very strong side. Nyakasura comfortably won in their last game against Karago after comfortably defending over 300 runs. They will be hoping to carry this form into this game against Jinja SS
