Nile CC Vs Africa CC – 10:30am

Last trip Wanderers made to Budo they were bundled out for 85 by Tornado and they will have to exorcise those demons when they face SKLPS this weekend. SKLPS held their nerve to defeat Budo Cricket team last weekend defeating them by 3 wickets in a low scoring game.

SKLPS are third on the table with two wins and just the one loss in comparison to their rivals Wanderers who have lost two games and have only win. Wanderers in their second season in Div 2 has failed to find a way to dominate the Division. They could only finish a lowly fourth last season, and a poor start this season where they lost to Avengers in Jinja and to Tornado in Budo means they are off the pace in the chase for promotion.

Wanderers has been let down by some very poor fielding and batting with season signings Abu Sseguya, Juma Gabula and Joseph Byaruhanga yet to inspire the side. The pace trio of Peter Tusiime, David Kateyenge and Tembo Zubair will be key in Budo if Wanderers are to get something out of the game in Budo.

Unbeaten Tornado will take on Avengers at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe. Tornado have started the season like a house on fire winning all its three games so far and they sit at the top of the table. Their opponets Avengers have only the season opening winning against Wanderers to boast about but losses to Patidar and ACC have stopped their upward progression. The pace combination of Trevor Bukenya and Cosmas Kyewuta has given batsmen nightmares while making it easy for Tornado to win games , If Avengers can put on a good total they will get a chance to test the frail batting line up of Tornado.

ACC travel to Jinja with a chance to redeem themselves against the hapless Nile. The young inexperienced Nile side were only put together at the start of the season and they are the only team without a win in Div 2. ACC lost their last game to Budo by 7 runs after choosing to rest most of their senior players a decision that backfired on them. They should win in Jinja unless the weather plays a part in the game.
