Tornado CC 253/10 in 46 overs beat Nile CC 32 all out in 15 overs

Budo were at fault for failing to follow their impressive win against ACC after they fell to unimpressive SKLPS side by 3 wickets. They encountered misfortune on their way to Budo after their taxi lost a tyre and the late arrival was made worse by a bad decision to bat first instead the logical decision to field 1st.

They were quickly reduced to 30 for 7 with Yoghesh Rabadiya claiming five wickets in quick time and only a rear guard resistance from Jonathan Kiiza and Phillip Thawithemwira helped them reach a respectable 90.

In the chase Aaron Adule struck in the second over to claim the first SKLPS wicket before the rain came down with SKLPS at 5/1 and give both teams time to regroup. After the persistent drizzle cleared Budo went for wickets and even with the score board ticking they managed to snap up another six wickets with Phillip Thawithemwira claiming 4 for the wickets. However, in the end 90 was not enough as SKLPS was able to hold their nerve and claim the 3 wicket win and their second of the season.

Budo will have to work on their batting before their next game and SKLPS will be confident going into their big game against Wanderers next weekend.

Tornado made light work of Nile in Jinja and continue their unbeaten start to the season. Tornado have now four out of their four games so far and sit comfortably at the top of the Div 2 table. The inexperienced Nile side have alot of work to do if they are to get anything out this season but the results so far show they will have a very long season.
