Another weekend of intriguing league action as KICC failed to chase down another low score; Challengers fell to newly promoted Strikers CC and Tornado showed intent for promotion thrashing Budo in Jinja.

The Selectors picked their XI of the weekend.

The top order is marshalled by Simon Ssesazi and Hamu Kayondo of Tornado who built solid platforms for their sides to kick on.

Arnold Otwani and Brian Adriko take on one down and number 4 duties for helping carry on the good work done by the openers.

Ivan Thawithemwira leads the middle to late order set up for a match winning half century over the weekend together with all-rounder duties falling to youngsters

Rogers Olipa and Cosmas Chewuta who put in solid late innings contributions to take the game away from Challengers CC and KC Budo CC respectively.

Spin attack is led by Strikers CC Captain Frank Akankwasa partnered by Davis Karashani who was the only highlight of KICC’s performance over the weekend, Fast bowling duties falling to the revitalized Asadu Seyiga who has found playing time at Challengers CC and Patrick Oburu of KC Budo CC who put in a stand out shift in Jinja to contain the free scoring Tornado CC.

Chewuta Cosmas and Asadu Seyiga who was consistent in keeping the Strikers line up from tearing away to a big total.

12th man for the team is Rogers Olipa of Strikers CC and Steven Wabwose of Challengers CC takes the gloves for a battling knock to try and save the run chase in Entebbe, two catches 3 byes and only leg 1 bye.
