The selectors are back at it for the 2018 season; busy weekend, lots of numbers. The first pick of team of the week for 2018 season;

Roger Mukasa, Daud Rajani and Hillary Kutesa who lit up division 1 and three respectively take their rightful places in the top order opening partners.

No suprises then that the man who saved Challengers CC any blushes after helping them recover from 12/4 leads the middle order batting; Steven Wabwose guiding his side to victory; another youngster joins Wabwose in the middle, Calvin Watuwa with a promising knock as Premier went down to Tornado Bees CC.

David Wabwire who was the destroyer in chief makes the team of the week as opening bowler for a match winning spell and five-fer.

Henry Ssenyondo and Soroti Blazers captain Ivan Kakande in a double pronged left arm spin attack together with the stingy Deus Muhumuza who was edged to the starting eleven by Richard Agamire’s effort against Aziz Damani C.C.

Division 2 hero John Ilukor whose blitz in Jinja helped ACC edge SKLPS brings the much needed big hitting to the middle/late order with Meji Kara of SKPLS helping to beef up the all-rounder duties for the team of the week.

Ivan Kakande Captains the side with Mansukh Gorasiya whose neat work behind the timbers on the difficult Jinja SS Astra Turf let through only 2 byes and 7 extra wides edging the rest. Yusuf Nanga who managed 5 catches missed out having let through a stats numbing 31 extra wides and 14 byes.

Ex Ugandan International Richard Okia whose patient knock from the 25th over through to the 46th to guide A.C.C to a very crucial win against S.K.P.S completes the team of the week; he put together a match turning 69 run stand for the sixth wicket with John Ilukor and was there at the end with eleventh batsman Collins Okwalinga in the tension filled final overs.
