June 10, 2025 – Matchday 10 brought another thrilling weekend of cricket in the 2025 UCA National Men’s 50-Over League. Wanderers asserted their dominance in Entebbe, JACC continued their hot streak, and Aboojo produced the performance of the season courtesy of Joseph Baguma’s ton and fifer. GM Sugar remained untouchable in Division II whereas Ismaili Community rallied back, too.

Wanderers Vs Rounders – Entebbe Cricket Oval
Wanderers CC: 235/9 (50 overs) | Rounders CC: 121 all out (39 overs)
Wanderers CC won by 114 runs

Wanderers Complete Season Double with Commanding Win
Wanderers CC sealed a season double over Rounders CC with a resounding 114-run victory. Missing regular gloveman Vamsi Krishna, they welcomed back Fred Achelam and unleashed their Rwandan duo of Didier Ndikubwimana and Martin Akayezu for the first time this season.
Batting first, Wanderers piled up 235/9 with Perry Wazombe smashing 67 off 64 balls, supported by Suleman Sharif’s anchoring 59 (93). Narinder Singh’s 4/45 kept Rounders in check. In response, Rounders' batting unit wilted under pressure, folding for 121. Abrar Ul Haq bagged 3/26, and Davis Karashani chipped in with 3 wickets to wrap things up. The win lifted Wanderers to fifth on the log with 5 points as Rounders hit bottom.

JACC Vs Tornado Bee – Jinja SS Oval
JACC: 156 all out (41 overs) | Tornado Bees: 147 all out (35 overs)
JACC won by 9 runs

JACC claimed a tense 9-run win against Tornado Bees in a low-scoring thriller. Kenneth Waiswa's dogged 50 and Paul Mulongo’s 38 were the backbone of JACC’s 156, despite Cyrus Kibukamusoke’s ferocious 6/31 for the Bees. Tornado Bee appeared to be cruising courtesy of Anas Baig’s attacking 50 (38), but a late collapse saw them crash to 147 all out. Eddie Agaba turned the tide with a game-defining spell of 4/11, while Eric Mukisa added 3/16. JACC’s win propelled them to third on the table with 10 points.

Avengers CC: 172 all out (34.3 overs) | Aboojo CC: 173/6 (23 overs)

Baguma's Heroics Power Aboojo to Victory
Joseph Baguma delivered a masterclass, picking 5/34 and hammering a brutal 108 off 56 balls to hand Aboojo a much-needed 4-wicket win over Avengers. Avengers, sent in to bat, started brightly but faltered under Baguma’s and Mathew Musinguzi’s pressure, who claimed 4/41.
Baguma then put the match beyond doubt with a blistering ton featuring 17 boundaries and 3 massive sixes, as Aboojo chased the target in just 23 overs, moving up to fourth on the log with 8 points.

Entale CC clawed their way to a narrow 2-wicket win after a middle-order wobble against KC Budo.
Daniel Maate (4/12), Akiiki Mukonyezi (3/18), and Stephen Aliganyira (1/25) dismantled Budo’s batting. Despite falling to 62/6, Larry Itaagi (31) and Mayenga Tusiime (17*) rescued Entale in the chase.
Extras (28 wides) proved costly for Budo in a match decided by fine margins.

GM Sugar posted a massive 308, led by Hetalkumar Patel (62), Niket Patel (51), and aided by 47 extras.
St John’s SS had no answer to the pressure, skittled for just 47. Nimeshkumar Patel (3/19) and Bhaveshbhai Patel led the demolition in a game that ended before the halfway mark.

SKLPS Vs Ismaili Community – GM Sugar Oval

SKLPS Hold Nerve to Edge Ismaili
SKLPS survived a scare to clinch a 1-wicket win in a gripping contest. Dinesh Vekariya starred with 4/36 to keep Ismaili to 168. In the chase, Yogesh Rabadiya (32) and Dipak Limbani (12*) pulled off a tense finish after a middle-order collapse.
Nazim Punjwani (4/27) nearly turned the tide, but SKLPS held their nerve to seal a dramatic win.

Ismaili CC won by 302 runs

Ismaili Crush Mukono Development by 302 Runs in Record Win
Two days after their heartbreak, Ismaili CC roared back with a record 302-run win.
Imtiaz Ali smashed a 100 (79), while Shamsheer Ali blasted 94. Junaid Khan (5/20) and Ali Dishan (5/10) combined for a rare double five-for to skittle Mukono for 71.
Ismaili’s response was emphatic as they soared up the Division Two standings to second.
