FIXTURES PREVIEW
SATURDAY – APRIL 12, 2025
DIVISION TWO
Only one league fixture will take place on Saturday as Lugogo hosts the traditional Abagurusi match.
Nile CC vs Entale, 10am
Entebbe Cricket Oval
Nile CC are eyeing their first win after losing their opener to Budo CC, while Entale’s student-oriented squad from Nyakasura School will want to build on their raw potential and push for early momentum. The youthful energies and camaraderie will be eye-candy in this fixture.
Note: No league fixture at Lugogo Oval on Saturday due to the Abagurusi Match.
SUNDAY – APRIL 13, 2025
DIVISION ONE FIXTURES
A full set of Division One clashes lights up Sunday across four venues:
- Rounders CC vs Aboojo CC, 10am
Lugogo Cricket Oval
Aboojo look to stay unbeaten after a dominant win last weekend. Rounders, missing Brian Masaba but boosted by the return of U-19 international Richard Sohera, seek redemption, after going down to JACC in the Jinja derby last weekend. - Kutchi Tigers CC vs Avengers CC, 10am
Entebbe Cricket Oval
After washouts last week, both sides are hungry for action. Avengers will welcome back Christopher Kidega from a lackluster show at U-19 World Cup qualifiers in Nigeria. - JACC vs Ceylon Lions CC, 10am
Jinja SS Oval
JACC were clinical in their opening win. Ceylon Lions come in with a point from a washed-out tie against defending champions Kutchi Tigers and aim to make their mark. - Wanderers CC vs Tornado Bees, 10am
Serenity Oval
A rivalry rekindled. Wanderers’ strong lineup, including experienced Davis Karashani and Denis Musali, faces a reinforced Tornado Bees side featuring returnees Gurjivan Singh, Musa Majid Ramathan, and Abdul Aziz Tandia from the U-19 qualifiers.
DIVISION TWO FIXTURES
- Patidar Samaj CC vs Entale CC, 10am
Florida Oval
Patidar Samaj begin their season against a young Entale side playing their second match of the weekend. Momentum and managing players’ fatigue will be key for Entale. - GM Sugar CC vs Aziz Damani Ismaili CC, 10am
GM Sugar Oval, Njeru
GM Sugar impressed on debut with a win against Premier last weekend and now face Aziz Damani Ismaili, who start their campaign.
