Aziz Damani are champions elect of the Jazz Safari National Men’s league and all that remains, is for them to get their hands on the trophy at the end of the season.

Damani beat Kitchi Tigers in a low scoring thriller to take home the honors and also to extend their lead at the top to 17 points. The win saw them maintain their 100% win record in the league and look unbeatable at the moment.

Strikers CC come into this fixture knowing Damani will not go easy on them as they look to end the season flawlessly, avoiding a defeat. At this point, only a change in weather conditions can see them drop points in a no result fixture which the Strikers will be more than happy to collect. Damani will look to finish unbeaten and not even Strikers can stop them.

Saud Islam and Sai Manoj who have provided the backbone for their batting and have been impressive all season long. They will equally be called upon to provide their services against the Strikers bowling attack. Speaking of bowling, Emmanuel Isaneez has been stellar in the department and his involvement in the fixture will be key to stopping the erratic Strikers batsmen.

Strikers on the other hand have a good number of their players participating in the National Boys’ Schools Cricket tournament and will bank on their performances herein to propel them forward. Zephaniah Arinaitwe, Frank Akankwasa, Simon Okecho, and Perry Wazombe are some of the notable names currently playing for their schools. The all rounders will have a large role to play in the fixture.

Strikers will solidify their stay in the division should they win or even get a point from the game. Aziz Damani on the other hand just want to win and finish the season having beaten all sides in both fixtures.
