This year's U.C.A sponsored schools Inter-house Competition came to a close at Nyakasura School - Balya House emerged winners of this year's schools inter-house competitions when they defeated Apollo house by 6 wickets. Under grey skies with the Rwenzori ranges in the background partially covered by the clouds, Apollo house won the toss and elected to bat but could only manage 48 runs all out in their allotted 20 overs. Balya house then made easy work chasing down this meagre total losing 4 wickets en route to achieving their maiden title, winning themselves a beautiful trophy and a bull courtesy of UCA.

The three (3) weeks' tournament was played on Saturdays and Sundays and some times matches were scheduled during Wednesdays after classes.

Close to 300 students attended the closing ceremony at Nyakasura Oval in Fort Portal. The Chairman Uganda Cricket Mr Richard Mwami (guest of honor of the day), Justine Ligyalingi the C.E.O Uganda Cricket and the Development Manager Henry Okecho attended the finals.
